The University of Colorado at Boulder is hosting a GREEN PRODUCTS EXPO on Friday, February 13, 2009.  The Expo is being held in conjunction with the 2009 Rocky Mountain Sustainability Summit, which will bring together the Rocky Mountain region’s higher educational institutions to network and share success stories on how to increase and promote sustainability on their campuses.

 

The 2009 Green Products Expo will showcase environmentally and socially responsible products and services for sustainable living.  The Expo will provide an essential link between university purchasing professionals and green businesses. Delegates representing millions of dollars in purchasing expenditures are expected to attend.  The Green Purchasing Expo, organized by CU-Boulder’s Environmental Center, is meant to introduce universities and colleges from the region to the incredible variety of environmentally responsible product and service options available.

 

Vendors, manufacturers and distributors will show a wide variety of innovative, sustainable and cost-effective products and services geared toward institutional applications.
