What is better than having your own backyard flock and getting fresh eggs every day? (Well, ok, there are actually a few things, but chickens are still pretty great!) Lyons Farmeette has been keeping many varieties of chickens. They'll give you the chicken basics--getting them as chicks and what to do next. They'll also cover information about feed, care, legality, predator proofing, and more. $10 per person, no charge for kids under 12.
