Kristin Casper

Kristin Casper is a climate campaigner for the Greenpeace Clean Energy Now! campaign. She was instrumental in the campaign’s recent victory passing two solar propositions in the city and county of San Francisco that nearly doubled the number of grid connected solar systems in the US. In addition, her work with Greenpeace includes transforming California into the world leader in renewable energy and climate protection, both at the state level and at educational institutions. She received her B.A. in environmental studies from Lewis & Clark College, and was the co-founder of the college’s most active student organization, SEED (Students Engaged in Eco-Defense). Kristin is also very committed to making the voice of youth heard at the upcoming World Summit on Sustainable Development in August 2002.
