Duncan Marsh is a senior consultant on greenhouse gas markets and international climate change policy issues. Mr. Marsh recently joined Natsource from the U.S. Department of States climate change team, where he was lead U.S. negotiator for the technology transfer and international aviation and marine emissions aspects of the international climate change negotiations. He also was an advisor on a broad range of climate change policy issues, including the Kyoto flexibility mechanisms and financing and capacity building for developing country participation in climate change mitigation efforts. These activities included assessing emissions trading and Clean Development Mechanism design issues to maximize environmental objectives and economic efficiency. Mr. Marsh also served as a negotiator and policy advisor on climate change, energy and transportation issues on U.S. delegations to the U.N. Commission on Sustainable Development, the International Civil Aviation Organization and the Climate Technology Initiative. Mr. Marsh brings broad international experience to Natsource, with particular specialization in East Asia, and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
