Lead a Project on Campus
CU has come a long way in energy and water conservation, but we still have a long way to go and we need YOUR help. Students, staff, and faculty see many opportunities to save energy and water in their daily lives on campus, but usually they don't know what to do about it.
Report Energy and Water Waste
First, whenever possible, report energy and water waste to the hotline at 303-735-6202 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
Sustainable CU
If it is a bigger problem, we have resources to help. You can apply for Sustainable CU funding monthly for projects under $2,500 or yearly for projects up to $50,000.
ECRF and EEF
Is your project bigger than that? You can apply for a loan from the Energy and Climate Revolving Fund. AND if you have an idea for a project in one of the CUSG-owned buildings (Rec Center, Wardenburg or UMC), you can apply for a grant from the Energy Efficiency Fund to cover the cost.
